24/7Calls allows customers to have a number of "free" 07005 or 070X0 personal numbers. The concept of "free for life" is core to the personal number ethos. The idea is that a customer can have a number for life, that follows them from mobile phone to mobile phone, landline to landline, and can provide useful services for the entire life. The idea is that the customer should never have to pay for this service.
What are the caveats?
- It is dependant on the telecoms environment and regulations
- The numbers must be used (see Minimum usage policy), we do not require a high usage, and have a policy for handling exceptions.
- That the numbers are used for reasonable and responsible communications, this is partly based on regulations, and partly a decision that we take as part of the dmClub ethos.
- We reserve the right to review this policy.
Our track record is good here,, on the web, through retail outlets, and through brochures. We have upgraded the services several times, and still offer a superior service, for free.
